True Faith
The first and perhaps the only, outcome of man''s will-to-understanding is faith
Oswald Spengler
Faith is much better than belief. Belief is when someone else does the thinking.
R. Buckminster Fuller
There is but one cause of human failure. And that is man''s lack of faith in his true Self.
William James
In properly organized groups no faith is required; what is required is simply a little trust and even that only for a little while, for the sooner a man begins to verify all he hears the better it is for him.
Gurdjieff
Truth Faint Means to Me...
- Faith that the universe or God created you with all the sensory tools necessary to perceive universe accurately yourself.
- Faith in your intrinsic oneness with the universe. Where does the sun end? Is the the surface of the plasma? Is it the corona? Is it the light sphere emanating in all directions? Is it the plants which absorb the light? The sun goes on for ever in all directions. What we call the sun is the most focused region of it. In the same way everything goes on forever and has a focus. Everything is one because of the merging of all the emanations. To me this is God: the awareness of all that is, or That Which Is What It Is
- Faith in the oneness of Now and it''s infinitely graduated present.
- Faith in your God given synthesense of God and not your image of God or belief in God(s).
Faith: not wanting to know what is true.
Friedrich Nietzsche
God is a thought who makes crooked all that is straight.
Friedrich Nietzsche
False Faith
To hold an idea or image as reality even when your God given synthesense provides you with a perspective of contradiction. For example, the bible says God created the universe in 7 days. Obviously it has been an evolving process for billions of years.
Synthesense That Which Is What It Is instead of the false image of God and all the other idols.
In properly organized groups no faith is required; what is required is simply a little trust and even that only for a little while, for the sooner a man begins to verify all he hears the better it is for him.
G. I. Gurdjieff
