Conscious versus Unconscious

Many people speak of their being two "minds" in every individual, the conscious and the unconscious. Waking-consciousness, our everyday life we call conscious. At night we close our eyelids, breathe slower and deeper, and sometimes our eyes flutter. Sometimes we remember confused images when we "awaken." In all honesty, most people experience confused images all the time. I don't see the difference. Nobody knows the whys and hows whether awake or asleep. From where does this division of consciousness arise?

We organize the events we understand and can usually reproduce under the label conscious. The rest gets dumped in a heap, to be ignored. Perhaps some things we choose to feel bad about; throw it on the heap. Perhaps many things we are too lazy to understand. Wouldn't be nice to have a place to dispose of those troublesome feelings?

Flip the coin.

Now we stand viewing a grand horizon. Its too early to encapsulate but the view is enchanting. The drudgery of the known seems far away. Mystery, Adventure are at hand.
